After reading the assigned readings (the business cycle) and watching the videos, please write a short essay discussing your basic understanding of the cyclical nature of the economy. In your discussion, please address the following:

What is a business cycle and how does it influence the nation’s economy? 

What happens to workers when the economy is booming and busting?

How does the boom and the bust of the economy impact the community?

How does the economic expansion or contraction affect businesses that employ workers that live in different communities? 

How can this impact the work of a Human Services professional? 

Write a paper that compares the economic climate of the 3 points (expansion, contraction and trough in a business cycle) in history.

Please respond in not less than 350 words.
