Case Study: Accounting INC.

7-1

When implanting a performance management system, there needs to be effective communication.  Sazaklis states in his article, “performance management is all about engaging with your employees in meaningful ways, creating opportunities for individual team members to advance” (Sazaklis 2020). There are certain questions that are asked when making this performance management system. When reviewing Accounting Inc. performance management system some of these questions were answered. One of the areas that they could have touched on was “What is Performance Management?” This needs to be addressed as a form of communication so everyone can know what to expect and to prepare themselves for this new implementation in the company. Another area that could have been addressed was “What is in it for me?” This is a form of communication of the benefits to those that are involved so that they can be aware of an outcome and rewards.
