There are a variety of options for the delivery of training. Being acquainted with the various techniques will expand your repertoire of potential opportunities for the training and development of employees. This assignment will enable you to place yourself in the role of a consultant explaining techniques you believe would be beneficial component of a training and development program. 


 


INSTRUCTIONS


Imagine you are working as a training and development consultant. You are pitching to a company who has asked you to share with them what different types of training options you could provide for the company. This can be a hypothetical or real company in the industry of your choosing. Pick two traditional training methods and two technology-based training methods which you believe would be beneficial for that particular company and training goals. Develop a PowerPoint presentation wherein you do the following for each method:


1.   Describe the method.


2.   Identify the benefits of using the method for the company.


3.   Explain how you would use the method as a consultant.


 


The PowerPoint must be 12- slides. Utilize the Notes feature to indicate the “speech” you would be giving to the company for each slide. Be creative as though this were really your job and your livelihood depended upon it! Utilize a minimum of three sources, referencing them in current APA format on a slide at the end of your presentation. Note that the reference list is not included in 12-slide length requirement.

The Student prepares a professional and visually appealing presentation. Student utilizes the Notes feature to provide speech information. Student presents information on 2 traditional training methods and 2 technology-based methods, including method description, benefits of using the method, and how the method would be used for the identified organization. The presentation meets the 12-slide minimum.
